At Brooklyn Coffee Academy we recognize that having extensive expertise in the methodology of brewing coffee alone is not enough, and that hospitality is more than simply preparing and serving the beverage; it is also about generating an atmosphere, a feeling of being welcome.
Here at Brooklyn Coffee Academy we strive to impart our philosophy of an all encompassing approach of producing a finely crafted customer experience - from teaching how to dial in espresso to presenting the perfected final drink.

Our Team
Johan Pesenti
Founder of Coperaco, Johan decided to fund BCA as his gift to the coffee community. He’s committed to deliver a better coffee experience to the upcoming generations and guides the instructors through his own journeys.
Ioannis Nikolaidis
Acting as a coffee instructor in BCA, Ioannis vision is to ignite the coffee passion of the new baristas with his interactive methods. His motto; “the only constant is change” - applies to coffee as well.

Zac Santanello
As a professional photographer and a home barista, Zac played a major role in the build up of BCA. He’s Providing every day new stimulus to our instructors in order to test new theories and methods.
